[The City Council places all its resources at the service of the Community for the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 (10/01/2021)

| From the areas of Vaccination, Health and Epidemiology, close contact is maintained with the Council to coordinate supply work in those centers that have personnel belonging to the first vulnerable group | The City Council, through the Municipal Vaccination Service, dependent on the Department of Sports and Health, places all its resources at the service of the Community to facilitate the vaccination campaign against COVID-19. Since the beginning of this first phase, on December 27, the consistory maintains close collaboration with the General Directorate of Public Health to coordinate the necessary actions on the occasion of the campaign, such as the log Statistics and supply of doses to workers and users of municipal centers and hospitals. Performance during the weekend The municipal Vaccination Service protects a total of 1,520 people from the municipality of Murcia against COVID-19 since the campaign began on December 27. The campaign has not stopped during the weekend and personnel from the La Vega Hospital, Quir nsalud Hospital in El Infante and Mesa del Castillo Hospital in Ronda Sur have been vaccinated.

The vaccine is provided to all residents and workers, with the exception of those who cannot be immunized at that time for medical reasons. Continuation of the campaign The vaccination strategy has been designed by the Government of Spain and it is the communities that coordinate its supply.
