| The contract winner has an execution period of one month to remove the Espinardo mobile park and from the municipal depot of El Mayayo more than a hundred vehicles not suitable for circulation that have caused loss | The Department of Development, headed by the mayor Mario Gómez, together with the Department of Culture and Recovery of Heritage, have promoted the sale of the more than 100 municipal vehicles not suitable for circulation that were stored in the Espinardo mobile park and in the El Mayayo Local Police depot.

This initiative will be maintained over time until the disposal of all vehicles stored in various municipal facilities. The service was tendered through public procurement, leaving the file divided into four lots.

At the moment, the withdrawal and transfer to the scrapping of more than a hundred vehicles corresponding to lot 1, which was awarded at the Governing Board on December 11, to Desguaces El Italiano SLL, a company that has a deadline of one month to carry out the work.

  The age of the vehicles, which, before being removed, have caused removal from the Headquarters of the General Directorate of Traffic, varies according to the models and types, the oldest being from 1993, corresponding to various municipal services. The head of the Department, Mario Gómez, explained that "these vehicles are permanently withdrawn because they are in disuse and their repair is inappropriate due to their high cost and obsolescence, which makes it unfeasible for them to be used by municipal public services and serve the general interest ". The head of the Department has once again shown his satisfaction with the new management of the new head of General Services and his team.

"With the removal of these vehicles we are going to recover this space, which will allow us to carry out proper maintenance and cleaning of the facilities of the Espinardo mobile park and the El Mayayo municipal depot, in addition to facilitating entry and exit of those municipal vehicles that need repair, especially the Local Police, fire brigade and tow trucks.
