| The Department of Social Rights and the Family subsidizes the work being carried out with 15,000 euros in the reception center, where women of 22 different nationalities have received care in the last 9 months | The Murcia City Council, through the Department of Social and Family Rights, led by the mayor Pilar Torres, and the Association for Prevention, Reintegration and Attention for Women (APRAM) have carried out a total of 1,088 social intervention actions this year to help 213 women victims of human trafficking. The Government Team subsidizes with a line of 15,000 euros the work that takes place in the reception center that APRAM has in Murcia, in which women of 22 different nationalities have received care in the last 9 months. The mayor Pilar Torres has visited the facilities and has indicated that "the care of vulnerable people is an issue in which we are focused on the Government Team.

We do it out of social responsibility and we develop plans hand in hand with social entities, which they carry out an invaluable work to articulate support networks and develop actions for which the City Council is available to them ". 779 visits received this 2020 As some of the women attended to have attended on more than one occasion, the total number of visits made this year amounts to 779.

The social project carried out by APRAMP in Murcia is due to the alarming number of women who are in a situation of sexual exploitation and / or treats, for different reasons and that, in most cases, present deficiencies in different areas such as health, education, legal, social, psychological and labor. APRAMP designs its support and assistance resources adapting them to the reality of these people, based on the analysis that arises from the work carried out by the Mobile Unit Team, which provides knowledge of the needs and concerns of sexually exploited people and / or victims human trafficking. Individualized action proposals The offer of these services allows a more personalized approach, thus making it easier for the entity to design an individualized proposal in the reception center in order to enable it to leave the farm it suffers.

The Murcia reception center is a stable resource that is always available for people contacted by the Mobile Unit team. The technicians have appreciated a more than significant evolution of the demands from the socio-health crisis caused by the expansion of Covid-19, far exceeding the requests for social care received in periods prior to the pandemic. APRAMP has an emergency telephone that is active 24 hours a day and has become a very useful resource during the alarm state.

In addition to emergency face-to-face care, they conducted telephone monitoring of women who are prostituted and sexually exploited and thanks to this monitoring they have been able to offer them psychosocial support, health information and prevention measures; as well as providing them with information about the resources available to them and the services that are working and that may be useful to them.
