[A European project will promote healthy life habits among young people through products from the Murcian garden and zero kilometer (22/12/2020)

The City Council participates in this program, through the European Programs Service of the Urban Agenda and Open Government Council, which will try to involve citizens, especially young people, in social and economic issues.

This is the 'Dear Foodwave- Emporwring Urban Youth for Climate Action' program, which aims to support and involve society, especially young people, in social, economic and environmental issues at a global level.

To do this, Murcia will work with 28 local administrations from different countries, such as Italy, Bulgaria, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Greece, Brazil, United Kingdom, Hungary, Romania, France and Portugal. The budget with which the Murcia City Council will participate amounts to 164,202 euros, 90% being financed by the European Commission and the remaining 10% by municipal contribution.
