The University of Murcia awards the most ingenious business ideas (14/12/2020)

The University of Murcia has delivered this Monday the prizes of the third edition of the ideas competition for the creation of a company: 'UMUEmprende Talent', in an act that took place at the Faculty of Economics and Business.

The objective of this contest called by the Office of Entrepreneurship of the University of Murcia is to promote entrepreneurial initiative within the university community. 96 projects by students, teachers and administration and services staff from the University of Murcia have participated in this call.

The best business ideas that can become a business in each category have won 450 euros and, the two finalists, have received an Accésit diploma. The jury has taken into account criteria such as the innovation of the idea itself, the potential to become a business project and the degree of impact on society.

Present at the event were José Luján, rector of the University of Murcia; Alicia Rubio, vice-rector for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society; Juan Antonio Campillo, president of the Social Council, as well as representatives of the dean teams of different faculties and of various organizations of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Region of Murcia (CIM-M, AJE, OTRI). Here is the list of winning people and ideas in each category: Fine Arts, Letters and Philosophy First prize.

HandKid, by Ghizlane Tahiri and Álvaro López Zaplana.

Company of material for crafts that you receive at home and explanatory videos to do them on a subscription platform. Second prize.

MAJ3D: Museum of Young 3D Art, by María Soledad González-Reforma Martínez and Cooperativa de Traductores Audiovisuales for YouTube, by Juan Vigueras López. Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Veterinary First prize.

NanoRep, Nanotechnology at the service of reproduction, by Gabriela Garrapa and Francisco Alberto García Vázquez.

Company that contemplates the manipulation of oocytes and embryos without the need for direct physical contact thanks to the use of magnetic nanoparticles. Second prize.

Health Betalains: Betalains of natural origin, by Paula Henarejos Escudero and Liquionic, by Francisco José Hernández Fernández and Antonia Pérez de los Ríos. Computer Science and Mathematics First prize.

EsquizApp, by Laura Martínez Mira; a mobile application App dedicated to care medicine to care for people with controlled schizophrenia, already diagnosed and treated.

The application allows the visualization of files, evaluation tests, generation of reports, messaging, etc. Second prize.

Color Blind Clothes, by Miguel Ángel Martínez-Carbonell Palazón and LocalShoppers, by Pedro José Méndez Conesa. Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Optics and Optometry, Osteopathy First prize.

Divorce School, by María Herrera Sánchez: An intervention project whose objective is to reduce conflicts between parents, as well as a better adaptation of minors to divorce.

It aims to decongest the judicial system and economic losses for the State and families by reducing litigation. Second prize.

Longseq Applications, SL, by Belén de la Morera Barrio and Teleenfermería, by Elena Díaz García and María Díaz García. Law, Economy and Business and Tourism First prize.

Live Region, by Francisco López Jiménez.

Company that offers 3 gastronomic experiences that will allow to know areas of the Region that do not have a high tourist impact, in order to promote it. Second prize.

WHISHES, by Laura Faura Salas and ACTIVAMUR, by María Victoria Cegarra Ureña. Communication and Documentation and in Labor Sciences First prize.

GoRural: Rediscover Spain, by Constantino Abenza Olmos.

Application to put the municipalities of those municipalities that have suffered rural exodus in contact with people who are unemployed. Second prize.

Crecemur, by Inmaculada Baños López and Conecting me, by Ghizlane Tahiri and Álvaro López Zaplana. Education, Sports Sciences and Social Work First prize.

MiSintaxis, by Gonzalo Cánovas López de Molina and Francisco José Cortés Delgado.

Application to learn syntax with a question resolution chat. Second prize.

Digisenior, by Uliana Danylo and JLSportsE-Services by Jorge López Navarro. Social entrepreneurship YUNUS CENTER MURCIA First prize.

Be a Hero, by Pablo José Alarcón Meseguer.

Applications to find volunteer activities.

It allows the user to register, identify the volunteers that interest him and get in touch through a chat.

Associations may also register. Second prize.

HelpCOVID, by Javier Cifuentes Faura and Foraviller, by Oscar Mateo Quinde Herrera.
