Education, culture, seniors, tradition and mobility will be, among others, the themes of the second day that will feature the participants: Asunci n Hern ndez, from the City Council's Infant School Service and former director from the Infant School of Santiago el Mayor; Jes s de la Peña, from the Cuartel de Artiller a Cultural Production Center; Francisco Navarro Miñano, from the Peña Huertana La Hijuela de Patiño; Antonio Hern ndez Gim nez, from the Los Dolores Senior Center; Enrique Barranco and Kelly Suniaga, from the Wyrdamur Cultural Association; and Nacho Tom s, from the communication agency N7. This first day was opened by the mayor of Murcia, Jos Ballesta, and the councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernab , and moderated by the journalist Marienca Fern ndez.

Also present were neighbors and members of the municipal councils represented. The contributions of the first day of the Neighborhood Forum Specifically, commerce, culture, tradition, women, sports and integration were the topics discussed in the first Neighborhood Forum, which had neighborhood representatives from El Infante, San P o X, Barrio del Progreso , Nonduermas and Barriomar. Jos Ram n Garc a, from the Infante Juan Manuel Merchants Association, highlighted the importance of mobility and of generating new communications with the city center to promote economic activity.

For her part, Toñi L pez Nicol s, sociocultural facilitator of the San P o X neighborhood, spoke about the different artistic disciplines that are developed in the area and the importance of equipping young people and children of spaces that promote their development, such as outdoor facilities to carry out groups and parades. Herm genes Abril Serrano, from the Barrio del Progreso football club, highlighted the role that sport plays for the integration of neighborhood boys and girls.

He pointed out the need to create new sports spaces, pavilions and football fields, to cover the existing demands in the area and, at the same time, that these are well connected to each other, so that families can get around without having to take the car. Tradition and customs were represented by Ana Castillo, from the Nuestra Señora de Cortes de Nonduermas Choral and Cultural Association.

The demand for green infrastructures and more comfortable facilities for the development of activities that promote the values ??of the orchard and the districts stood out. Concha Manzanares M ndez, from the Barriomar Women's Center, defended that it is necessary to provide the neighborhood with more spaces to carry out activities aimed not only at women, but also at young people, as well as such as the construction of buildings that promote this last group to make its life in the area and connect this center with the rest of the districts. Finally, Larysa Ponomarenko, from the Murcia Association of Ukrainians, spoke of integration and the advantages that a South Connection project can bring to people of other nationalities.

He highlighted the idea of ??continuing to bet on interculturality to advance and achieve mutual enrichment, as well as the lack of green spaces for rest or facilities for the development of actions.
