The social and economic agents of the municipality and political groups with representation in the City Council will attend | The Department of Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism, led by councilor Pedro García Rex, has organized for next Thursday, December 10, a technical conference in which the first guidelines and lines of action of what the future will be will be addressed Employment and Economic Promotion Plan of the municipality of Murcia to overcome the crisis.During the meeting, which will be held electronically, and will be attended by the social and economic agents and the political groups of the City Council, the conclusions of the economic and labor pre-diagnosis of the municipality of Murcia will be presented.A document that, as explained by the head of the Department, Pedro García Rex, "will serve as the basis for the drafting of the Employment and Economic Promotion Plan that will mark the policies to be implemented in the next two years to face the crisis derived from the pandemic in our municipality ".The main challenge of this proposal for the Employment and Economic Promotion services is to generate knowledge tools that will be incorporated into decision-making for the adoption of public policies in the coming years.Specific objectivesAmong the specific objectives to be analyzed are the economic, business and employment situation of the municipality, its evolution and the trend experienced in recent years.It is also going to establish, broadly speaking, productive specialization at the infra-municipal level; the most in-demand occupations will be defined, as well as emerging ones; and identify the existing training offer at university level, professional training and training for employment, which will allow detecting those needs that are not covered.For councilor Pedro García Rex, "this is a key meeting that will help us set the guidelines for the implementation of local policies in economic and labor matters in the medium and long term."Incorporation of social and economic agentsThe pre-diagnosis of the situation of the municipality will be subjected, in later phases, to a more exhaustive analysis, to which key actors from different areas and sectors will be incorporated, through the use of qualitative techniques, such as roundtables.
