27 unemployed young people will receive training and carry out paid internships at the Food Bank (02/12/2020)

| Interested persons must go to their employment offices and be registered as job seekers and in the National Registry of Youth Guarantee and be between 18 and 29 years old | The Murcia City Council, through the municipal employment service, headed by the mayor Pedro García Rex, will hire 27 unemployed young people, under 30 years of age, to receive training and carry out paid internships at the Food Bank.This is the Mixed Employment and Training Program "Food Bank" for unemployed youths subsidized by the SEF.

Interested persons must go to their employment offices and be registered as job seekers and in the National Youth Guarantee Registry and be between 18 and 29 years old.It will be the Service  Regional  Employment and Training , through their employment offices responsible for carrying out the pre - selection of candidates ahead of the final selection process will consist of an objective test with mathematics content and language junior THAT.9 months duration between training and internshipsThe program will begin in February 2021 and will last 9 months , a first training stage of 3 months and another of training in alternation with professional practice, lasting 6 months, in which the students will be hired by the City Council of Murcia, with a contract for training and apprenticeship, receiving 75% of the minimum interprofessional salary.The program will focus its actions on improving, maintaining, cleaning and disinfecting the facilities of the Food Bank, increasing efficiency in work processes to make better use of resources, supporting the volunteer staff in charge of food collection campaigns, as well as as well as storage and subsequent distribution among various entities, associations, NGOs and end users.Young people who pass the training and obtain the certificate of professionalism will be able to work in companies in those professional sectors in which they have acquired skills: merchandise and warehouse management, inventory management, cleaning of spaces, waste management, assembly, preparation and use in carpentry work, among others."From the Department of Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism we continue to promote collaboration with the Segura Food Bank Association for the implementation of projects to support the unemployed and entrepreneurs", highlighted the mayor Pedro García Rex.
