| The City Council will set up a Business Mobility Table to analyze benefits that companies may have that promote their own mobility plans or strategies | The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, has participated in the Observatory of Sustainable Mobility of Spain, which seeks to strengthen close collaboration between public administrations and the agents involved in mobility in order to improve information systems and seek the consensus and participation in decision-making processes.The Sustainable Mobility Observatory has met to study various analyzes of indicators of Sustainable Urban Mobility in Spain, with the aim of identifying the main advances in this matter and sharing best practices in the public and private spheres, being able to anticipate trends on corporate mobility in the short and medium term.Rebeca Pérez has emphasized that "mobility is one of the fundamental pillars and priorities of the Government Team in the Murcia City Council since we are working at different levels of development and management for a continuous and progressive improvement of mobility already that we are aware that it directly affects the quality of life of our neighbors ".In this way, the City Council will set up a Business Mobility Table to analyze benefits that companies may have that promote their own mobility plans or strategies.Likewise, the Murcia City Council through the Department of Mobility and the Department of the Environment, through the Local Agency for Energy and Climate, will work to promote awareness campaigns for drivers with messages on driving linked to their influence on the road safety and the environment, the promotion of efficient driving through training programs for efficient driving of vehicles, especially driving schools and training centers for professional drivers, and awareness campaigns on the importance of considering energy efficiency criteria when buying vehicles ."The current situation derived from COVID 19 is an opportunity to rethink the city and give more space to pedestrians and two-wheelers, while advocating for speed reduction in the urban center, creating low-emission zones and being able to avoid Pollution, traffic jams and guaranteeing road safety.

Interest in the two-wheeled vehicle such as the bicycle or the scooter is increasing and new opportunities are emerging to promote the electric vehicle ", pointed out Pérez.
