| The term is well below the national average for local entities, which is above 70 days | The City Council, through the Department of Citizen Security and Economic Management, has streamlined the payment to municipal providers, placing the average period during the month of October at 21 days, a period that is well below the national average of local entities, which is above 70 days.In this way, it seeks to support the thousands of suppliers that work with the City Council, speeding up payments.The Consistory has promoted payments worth several tens of millions of euros to its suppliers in recent months, with the average payment period since last March being around 20 days.This trend is aligned with compliance with the provisions of the Economic and Social Reactivation Plan designed by the Government Team for the adoption of concrete measures that contribute to alleviating the effects of the socio-health crisis caused by the expansion of Covid- 19 is provoking.The Councilor for Citizen Security and Economic Management, Eduardo Martínez Oliva, has indicated that "from the Government Team we are working hard to pay our suppliers as soon as possible because we try to inject liquidity into companies and thereby encourage firms to continue developing their work and maintaining the jobs they are in charge of.

The City Council will always articulate measures that favor the economic revitalization of the municipality.
