Mannequins, panels and prototypes show the finalist works of Fashion and Graphic Design of the CreaMurcia in the Centro Puertas de Castilla (27/11/2020)

| José Ballesta presents the 34 finalists of the categories of Fashion Design and Graphic Design of the CreaMurcia Contest | The Puertas de Castilla Cultural Center hosts the exhibition of the finalist works of the Fashion Design and Graphic Design modalities of the CreaMurcia Contest, with a total of 34 works, of which 24 correspond to Graphic Design and 10 to Fashion Design.

The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, this morning presented the winners of both categories.“With the celebration of these two finals we culminated the XXVIII edition of the CreaMurcia Contest, with an exhibition that was born thanks to the determination and work of young people from Murcia, who represent dynamism, without giving up in the face of adversity in a year that is being dystopian, turning obstacles into horizons ”, highlighted José Ballesta during the event, which was broadcast live on the City Council's YouTube channel.It should be remembered that Fashion Design is divided into two subcategories: clothing and accessories.

Also, given that all the finals have already been held, the Teatro Circo will host the CreaMurcia Awards Gala on December 18.Prototypes of products, clothing and accessoriesThe exhibition is made up of 34 panels with Graphic Design works –some works need more than one panel–; 9 bases, where prototypes of products have been placed; 7 mannequins, which display the finalist clothing, and another 3 bases, with selected Fashion accessories.Publication of catalogs with the awarded works and dissemination of young talent in international competitionsThe first prize of both modalities is endowed with 2,000 euros, categories in which two second prizes of 500 euros have been distributed, respectively.

Likewise, the City Council will publish a catalog with all the awarded works.In both categories, the participation of young people in international events will be promoted, such as the Biennial of Young Creators of Europe and the Mediterranean.

In addition, the Fashion winners will have the opportunity to participate in different events in the municipality, such as 'Made in Murcia', 'Welcome to Spring' or 'Murcia is Moving'.Specifically, the exhibition of the finalist works can be visited today, until 8:00 p.m., and from November 30 to December 11, from 10:00 a.m.

to 8:00 p.m.The six winnersIn Fashion Design, the following works have been awarded:-First prize for 'Re-discovering origins', by Africa Hernández Martínez.-Accésit for 'Proyecto Tamgram', by Ana María Martínez Jiménez.-Accesit for 'Vest Bag', by María José Torres Fernández (Regalichi).-Mention for 'Cyberidealization', by Samantha Costantini García (Nulismo).For their part, in Graphic Design the winners are:-First prize for 'Bar Ocio-Posters', by Pedro Noguera Sánchez.-Accesit for 'Errata.

Identidad y Comunicación ', by Víctor Clemente Castroviejo.-Accesit for 'Caiman Meat.

The odyssey of loving in the digital age ', by María Jover and José Luis Beltrán.-Mention: 'CIEM.

International Congress on Music Diseases', by José María López Centero (Chem).The Graphic Design jury, chaired by Rebeca Pérez, is made up of Manel Quílez, Arancha Rueda, Juan Mercader and Juan Albaladejo, as secretaries.

Likewise, Paula del Vas, Constanza Más and Javier Mármol make up the Fashion Design jury, also chaired by Rebeca Pérez and with Juan Albaladejo as secretary.
