South Connection brings together national and international experts in urban recovery and transformation in a forum in Murcia (23/11/2020)

The conference, which will be held at the Artillery Barracks on December 2, will feature the experiences of some of the most influential national architects in the field of urban regeneration, such as Ibón Areso, promoter of Ría 2000 Bilbao, Francisco Burgos, responsible from Madrid Río, Enrique Bardají, from Mahou-Calderón, and José María Ezquiaga, from Madrid CentroThe councilors Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, and the Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, have presented this morning the Expert Forum that will bring together in Murcia renowned architects of national and international prestige on the recovery and urban transformation in the framework of the South Connection project.On December 2, the Artillery Barracks will host this day in which successful experiences and regeneration initiatives that have changed the direction of cities, such as the cases of Bilbao and Madrid, will be presented.

This activity is carried out jointly with the Official College of Architects of the Region of Murcia, whose dean and vice dean, María José Peñalver and Juan Pedro Alarcón, respectively, have been present at today's event. “South Connection is a project focused on people, which will mean a great social, urban and economic transformation of Murcia.
