| This audiovisual installation will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, showing a series of film pieces about Alfonso X the Wise, the Sufi mystic poet Ibn Arabi and the Wolf King | The artistic proposal, created and directed by La Sopa Escénica, 'Witnesses Medievales', another of the projects born under the Cultural Reactives program, will premiere tomorrow, Tuesday, November 24, in Pavilion 1 of the Artillery Barracks, at 7:00 p.m.Designed as an audiovisual installation, visitors will be able to view a series of small film pieces in which Alfonso X el Sabio, the Sufi mystic poet Ibn Arabi - closely related to the IBAFF Murcia International Film Festival that the center has just hosted - and the Wolf King head straight for the camera.

They do so by rescuing fragments of their codices and poems or recreating feelings and thoughts of Medieval Murcia.

A contemporary way of interacting with the Murcian audience teaching them more about the work and achievements of mythical characters.

These audiovisual works of an informative nature will familiarize citizens and potential visitors to the city,with the historical figures of Alfonso X the Wise and Ibn Arabi -promoting the original texts of both- and Muhammad Ibn Mardanix -recreating the most important moments of his reign-.Ibn Arabi, embodied in the actor Pepe Villena and with the vocal interpretation of Pablo Beneito (also responsible for the translation of the original texts), recites in front of the camera some of his most spiritual fragments where beauty and contemplation reside.

The Wolf King is portrayed by Yassine Mrit Majdoubi, in the three pieces called The Welcome, The Wolf King's Pleasures and The Fall, written by the screenwriter and playwright Rafael Escudero.

Finally, Alfonso X el Sabio is played by the actor Manuel de Reyes.For this La Sopa Escénica project - a collective that encompasses the creation, research, experimentation and training of Performing and Audiovisual Arts - Audiovisual Filming has been carried out and the support of the Puertas de Castilla and Cuartel de Artillery, as well as the collaboration of the Caravaca City Council and the Frontera de Reinos Cultural Association.
