The UMU launches the second edition of the ´Agent for Business Equality´ course (20/11/2020)

| The enrollment period is open until January 19, 2021, and has the collaboration of the employer's association CROEM | The Chair of CSR University of Murcia (UMU) launches the second edition of the course of 'Agent of Business Equality' in collaboration with the Regional Confederation of Business Organizations of Murcia (CROEM). The enrollment period is open until January 19, 2021, and the super school period will take place from February 1 to May 9, 2021, with face-to-face classes on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4.30 p.m.

Those who do it will obtain 30 European ECTS credits . This innovative course addresses equal opportunities between women and men, delving into areas related to non-financial information and diversity.

The objective is to provide specific training that enables students to carry out an 'Equality Plan' in the company in accordance with current legal requirements, enabling them to develop actions on business equality within the CSR strategy of organizations. This is an eminently practical course, taught by research staff from the CSR Chair of the UMU and professionals specializing in the development of equality plans and collective bargaining with a gender perspective.

It also has the presence of leading companies in the management of equal opportunities between women and men. The course is coordinated by the Director of Training of the CSR Chair of the UMU, Pedro J.

Cuestas, and the lawyer and professor of the Master in CSR of the UMUAna Jiménez-Alfaro. Ana Jiménez-Alfaro explained that "given the great reception that the first edition of the course had, we continue to respond to the need for specific and up-to-date training on equal opportunities within the business environment, and more so after the enactment of the new regulation of equality and equal pay plans ". The course is aimed at professionals interested in the management of organizations with a gender perspective, as well as students from degrees related to business, Human Resources, Marketing, Politics or Communication.

Likewise, it is aimed at those professionals who want to be trained in the tasks of a business equality agent.
