The City Council hosts an online conference focused on the latest news on circular economy (11/11/2020)

| This event, promoted by the Economic Promotion service in collaboration with the Association of Environmental Companies, has had the participation of various experts and personalities from the scene national on environmental matters | The Department of Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism has promoted, in collaboration with the Association of Environmental Companies, the Circular Economy Week, which brings together a series of activities around environmental news, among which the online conference stands out held this morning by the Murcia City Council, which was inaugurated by the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with councilor Pedro García Rex, and the president of AEMA, Daniel Robles.Numerous experts and personalities related to environmental activity at the national level participated in the conference, which was broadcast via streaming, and debated the latest developments in Circular Economy and Sustainability through several round tables.The three round tables have addressed the following issues: "Strategies and Governance of the Circular Economy", "Circular economy and energy recovery within the framework of the Green Pact" and "Transit towards a Circular Economy.

It is also aimed at professionals and freelancers interested in developing new business lines in the field of sustainability and the circular economy.November 14: Photo MarathonThe program will end this Saturday, November 14, with the celebration of a photographic marathon -which will begin at 11 in the morning in Pavilion 1 of the Artillery Barracks- and will be open to the public, up to a maximum of 40 people, previous registration in the mail aema@aema-rm.org before November 6.

The organization's staff will attend, from 11 a.m.

to 12.30 p.m., the participants in a staggered manner to avoid crowds, following all the security and protection measures against Covid-19. The event organizers will give the participants a list with the characteristics of the six photographs that they must take during the next 24 hours, four of them on places provided by the organization through an itinerary, and the remaining two of free choice, all them framed in the municipality of Murcia.The photographs or photographic compositions submitted to the contest will have the environment and sustainability in the municipality as the theme.

They will be sent in JPG file format, with a minimum file size of 1 Mb, via email aema@aema-rm.org.

The winners of the photography marathon will receive a series of prizes.
