The animals of the ´Chatungla´ of Teatro Silfo go up to the tables of the Bernal Theater tomorrow Thursday (11/11/2020)

| The object theater show, aimed at children and families, is one of those selected from the 'Cultural Reactives' program of the City Council Murcia | The Bernal Theater of El Palmar will host tomorrow Thursday, November 12, at 6 pm, the family show 'Chatungla.

A scrap jungle ', selected within the' Cultural Reactives' program launched by the Murcia City Council to promote the culture of the municipality with the creation of new projects.On this occasion, it will be the Teatro Silfo company that will take the stage with this theater show of objects and actors in which the main protagonists will be the animal puppets made from objects and all kinds of recycled or reused materials.Sara and Barbara will be in charge of introducing us to the inhabitants of this particular jungle.

During the time they have been locked up at home, they have discovered that they were surrounded by fantastic animals hidden in all kinds of objects ...

and it only took a few nuts, a couple of screws and a lot of care to bring them to life.Now, in the Bernal, attendees will meet, among other animals, the mischievous perrete (a dog-stool), the imposing and dancing giraffe (giraffe-ladder), the lazy furniture (lion-furniture), the fast gacilla (gazelle- chair) or some pinguotes (boat-penguins) waiters with artistic aspirations ...

"A junk festival; a journey from the most ordinary turned into the extraordinary.'Chatungla', as explained by the company itself, is a family show (recommended for children from 3 years old) that tries to "encourage in children the curiosity towards the traditional game as a vital moment in their training", playing from the stage and inviting spectators to join in and, why not, build their own jungle at home.

And in it, in addition to the puppets, the lighting and music will be the protagonists, which accompany and underline each scene.

The spectators will thus discover very recognizable pieces of classical music, but transformed for the occasion by the musician Marco Valentino.Invitations to attend 'Chatungla' at the Bernal Theater will be available at the theater's box office the same Thursday from 4 pm.

The capacity for this activity is limited and, for its celebration, it has all the necessary safety and hygiene measures, also complying with the recommended distance between attendees.'Cultural Reagents''Chatungla' is another of the theatrical proposals included in the Murcia City Council program 'Cultural Reactives', with which artistic and creative production is being promoted through an investment of more than 700,000 euros in direct hiring of the initiatives selected cultural activities in the nine lines of action.

One of these lines, destined to the performing arts, is that of 'Theaters and Auditoriums of Murcia', within which 179 projects were presented, of which a total of 15 were selected, which are being presented in municipal theaters and auditoriums .'Cultural Reactives' has been recognized by Europe as an example of good practice.

It arose as a result of the paralysis that the cultural sector suffered due to the health crisis of COVID-19 and seeks to contribute to the construction of a solid and comprehensive cultural sector, facilitating the development of projects launched by artists and creatives who are in different phases of your career.
