| And subsidizes it with more than 109,000 euros, charged to the fund for assets seized for illicit drug trafficking and other related crimes | Murcia City Council thus becomes one of the corporations that has received the most money in the call for aid for the development of drug prevention programsThe Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth has received an important state subsidy that recognizes the quality of the programming of Networks for free time that the Murcia City Council offers to young people in the municipality of Murcia, as a proposal for the prevention of addictions.The Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality has awarded almost 110,000.00 euros to this drug addiction prevention program, highlighting, in this way, the work carried out by the City of Murcia to offer young people healthy leisure alternatives from Thursday to Sunday ".Councilor Rebeca Pérez has indicated that "we have been one of the municipalities that has received the most money for the high quality of this project, which represents a real alternative for our young people against drugs and alcohol", assuming a boost to municipal policies against drug use and harm reduction related to addictive behaviors, from which more than 24,000 young people benefit through healthy, healthy, responsible and now also safe leisure alternatives against COVID-19 ".The objective of the Networks Program is to energize the weekends through a series of leisure and free time activities, all of them free, for the young people of the municipality.

The program is characterized by a great diversity of recreational, sports, cultural, solidarity and healthy activities, developing leisure activities by and for everyone, which take place in the neighborhoods and districts of the municipality of Murcia.In addition, the activities are adapted to the current needs of young people who can even propose them through the website itself, in such a way that their participation in the development of the program is encouraged, through surveys with which the quarterly programming.The program that is currently being developed, which began in October and will run until December, offers about 600 places, prioritizing adventure activities and those that can be carried out outdoors.Of the 50 scheduled activities, 62% will take place in open environments, with a total of 31 outdoor activities.

This percentage is significantly higher than the previous quarterly programming, where 51 activities were carried out, of which 14 were outdoors, with a percentage of 27%.
