The Teatro Circo hosts the solidarity gala of Aspanpal, which this year has flamenco as its protagonist (09/11/2020)

| The event, which will take place on Tuesday, November 17, at 8:00 p.m., will take place following all protection and prevention measures against to the Covid-19 established for this type of activity | The Teatro Circo will host on Tuesday, December 17, at 8:00 p.m., the XII Aspanpal Solidarity Gala, whose objective is to raise funds to improve the living conditions of children with hearing and language problems.The organizers have presented this event this morning at a ceremony held in the City Hall, which has had the participation of the mayor of the Elderly, Disability and Development Cooperation, Paqui Pérez, and the secretary of the Board of Directors of Aspanpal, Susana Martínez; the president of the Municipal Board of the Central East District, Lorenzo Tomás Gabarrón; and the director of the company will be Flamenco, Magdalena Morales.This year, the company will be Flamenco -formed by a large group of young people- under the artistic direction of Magdalena Morales and the choreographic collaboration of bailaor Daniel Valera, who is in charge of staging the flamenco work "Que mi nombre no se eras de the story ", which takes place during an intense trip through postwar Spain.Dancing, singing and guitar will be the protagonists of this show in the purest flamenco style, divided into seven scenes, which correspond to the following styles: flamenco ballads, fandangos from Huelva, seguiriya, alegrías de Cádiz, taranto and farruca.The show will be accessible to all audiences, with live subtitles and sign language interpreters and the magnetic loop installed in the Bernal Theater itself.

In addition, the event will take place following the security, protection and prevention measures against Covid-19 established for this type of action.The benefits of this gala will go to improve all the programs in which the Association works, covering health, educational, social, training and labor aspects, from early care to labor inclusion of this group.

Aspanpal provides daily care to more than 350 families in the Region of Murcia and more than 100 deaf adults.The mayor of the Elderly, Disability and Development Cooperation has indicated that "from the Department we will continue collaborating and supporting any type of initiative that serves to improve the living conditions of people, in this case, children with hearing problems and language and their families, any action that helps us move towards full inclusion in our municipality.
