In March, the City Council drew up the Protocol for the application for the incorporation of municipal employees to Telework and the installation manual for technological tools, in order to adapt the jobs and configure the equipment. In addition, during this period, the use and performance of applications has increased, such as Gexfow, the application used by staff attached to the Murcia City Council for electronic document management and whose main objectives are to improve processes and control organizational and technological, in the creation, management and filing of electronic documents. The data indicates that there has been a significant increase in the creation of electronic files, document creation and electronic signature on this platform.

The general increase has been around 185%, this being almost triple. In addition, the use of face-to-face registration has decreased by 54.20% from 2019 to 2020."Thanks to this tool we respond to the digital transformation needs of our City Council in improving internal efficiency and with a positive influence on the services provided to citizens", explains the councilor.A closer and smarter Town HallTechnology has been installed in a dizzying way in all areas of municipal management.

The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén, explains that "today we can provide all these services remotely and telematically thanks to the fact that the town hall has undergone in recent years a very important transformation and modernization of its administration towards a new model of smart City Council, more accessible, with the latest technological advances, which make life easier for citizens, eliminate bureaucracy, streamline procedures and, above all, be able to do all of this, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

telematically, remotely and without having to make any travel; all this has been developed within the Smart City strategy, through the MiMurcia project. The greatest example of this is the Electronic Headquarters, a portal from which the citizen, with a digital certificate or electronic ID, can access from any device and place in the world to carry out the procedures related to the different municipal services, as well as the presentation of their applications for municipal jurisdiction. Thus, in addition to those mentioned above, they are related to social services, health, urban planning, housing, environment, traffic, activities on public roads, parks and gardens, and access to selective employment and training processes, among others.  TuMurcia, a virtual communication and participation system for MurciansAmong the applications that are being carried out, and the new communication channels between residents and the City Council, the implementation of TuMurcia stands out, a portal where citizens can express their opinion through surveys, make suggestions, expose their ideas and participate in the improvement of the municipality. This virtual communication and participation system has become one of the tools extended among citizens to interact with the City Council.

Street Cleaning, Local Police, Traffic, Public Lighting, Parks and Gardens, Works and Health are the most repeated themes in the consultations of citizens.Likewise, residents are co-architects of the improvement of services and public spaces, all through various channels: direct participation, sending incidents and conducting opinion polls on municipal projects.

The App is divided into four sections.- "Your idea": We listen to you.

It is a simple application with which ideas and proposals for improvement are provided.- "Your notice": Let us know to improve.

You can report any incident on public roads through a simple form.

You must enter a photo, category of the incident (if it is a damage to the public road, gardens, cleaning, traffic signs ...), location and description of the incident.- "Your opinion": Participate and let's do Murcia together.

Do you want to comment on the most important projects in your city? It enables the citizen to be directly involved in citizen participation processes, promoted by the Murcia City Council, through surveys.- "Your query", where you can make inquiries through a chat.
