The City Council will celebrate the Children's Plenary Session online for the first time on November 19 (07/11/2020)

| Primary Education students will be able to participate online in the event that will take place in the Plenary Hall, on the occasion of the Declaration of Children's Rights | The City Council, through the Department of Early Childhood Education and Schools, led by Belén López, will hold the Children's Plenary Session, for the first time, online on November 19, on the occasion of the Declaration of Children's Rights - approved by the General Assembly of the UN on November 20, 1959 and the Convention on the Rights of Boys and Girls on November 20, 1989–.The Education Service organizes this event one more year as an instrument to vindicate the rights of boys and girls by reading a manifesto that will have, mainly, the environment as a common thread.The activity is especially aimed at participating Primary Education students, who will be connected electronically to the event that will take place from the Plenary Hall.

Only the four spokespersons for the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente (Murcia), Cipriano Galea (La Ñora), La Arboleja and Jesús María (Murcia) centers will be able to attend in person, representing the different cultural, social and educational realities of the municipality.The four delegates will attend the Plenary Hall and will intervene, one of them acting as mayor and the rest as councilors.

Likewise, they will be located according to the prevention and sanitary hygiene measures. “Schoolchildren will be the protagonists for another year in the defense of their personal rights through this activity that has had to reinvent itself and adapt to the current situation.

Boys and girls will have the opportunity to reflect on the most relevant aspects of their environment and they will do so by actively participating, working in groups and listening to each other ”, highlighted Belén López.This activity is framed in the 'Children's Rights Week', which will take place from November 13 to 20 as an international campaign of social awareness for the knowledge and respect of the Rights of the Child.
