The City Council launches a project to promote the green economy and sustainable employment (05/11/2020)

| For this, the Employment service will hire four unemployed persons for six months full time who will work on the implementation of a social interest initiative based in the green economy and respect for the environment | The Murcia City Council Employment Service, led by the mayor Pedro García Rex, will hire four long-term unemployed people to improve their insertion into the labor market.

To do this, it will have the financial aid that the SEF allocates to the municipalities for the implementation of various initiatives of Local Public Employment.For six months, the people hired will work full time on the development of the 'Murcia Employ Green' project.

It is an initiative of social interest, in which courses will be carried out to train or recycle unemployed and working people, who will also be contacted with various companies in the municipality, to respond to the needs of hiring or training, in the green economy and sustainable development sectors.This project has the financial support of the European Social Fund, the Regional Employment and Training Service of the Autonomous Community and the Murcia City Council.Professional profilesThe cost of the recruitment amounts to a total of 83,326 euros, of which 49,282 euros are subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service.

The professional profiles of the people to be hired are:A job counselor, being the minimum requirements for a university degree, specifically in psychology, pedagogy, psychopedagogy, Work Sciences, master in job guidance.A technician in Administrative Management.

Being the minimum requirements of a university degree, specifically in diploma / university degree in management and public administration, business, ADE, double degree ADE / Law.A computer technician, being the minimum requirements for the Higher Level Professional Training qualification, specifically from the computer and communications family.An administrative one, being the minimum requirements for the Higher Degree Professional Training qualification and specifically administration and finance.The candidatures will be selected by the SEF, following the criteria of qualification, seniority in unemployment, among other aspects.

The people finally selected will be in charge of developing the 'Murcia Employ Green' project, whose fundamental objectives are to foster people's capacities and increase and increase sustainable work in green economy companies.Interested persons can contact their employment offices.
