The Governing Board extends 5 collaboration agreements to improve employment, training and social integration (23/10/2020)

| The Employment Service extends these agreements with the Jesús Abandonado Foundation, the Grupo 2000 RC Training Center and the associations for Integration of People with Intellectual Disabilities (CEOM), Colectivo Paréntesis y Murcia Acoge | The Governing Board has agreed to extend for one year five collaboration agreements with the Fundación Patronato Jesús Abandonado, the Grupo 2000 RC Training Center and the associations for the Integration of People with Intellectual Disabilities (CEOM), Colectivo Paréntesis and Murcia Acoge.These agreements, which are signed annually, acquire special relevance due to the crisis situation caused by Covid-19 and the need to continue promoting the measures and actions of the Murcia City Council's Economic and Social Reactivation Plan.65 Daily Menus and Cleaning Tasks for Abandoned JesusSpecifically, the purpose of the collaboration agreement with the Foundation is to carry out professional internships for students who are studying Mixed Employment and Training Projects subsidized by the SEF.

This agreement, which will last for one year, will allow them to collaborate in cleaning the Foundation's facilities and in preparing menus for its users.In this way, student workers who take the Certificate of Basic Operations in Accommodation, will carry out tasks of cleaning rooms, washing, ironing and fixing clothes, several days a week at the facilities of the Fundación Jesús Abandonado.

For their part, the working students of the Cooking Certificate will prepare 65 daily menus from Monday to Friday, for the Jesús Abandonado soup kitchen.Group 2000 CR: Training of workers and unemployedFor its part, the objective of the agreement signed with the training center Grupo 2000 RC is to launch training actions aimed at the professional qualification of workers and unemployed Murcia.Regarding the collaboration agreement with the Association for the Integration of People with Intellectual Disabilities (CEOM), its purpose is to carry out support tasks for students who are studying the Certificate of Basic Operations in Accommodation at the Training and Initiatives Center of El Palmar, and those of the Joint Project of Employment and Training for the Elderly "Gastro Turismo V", to perform basic catering operations tasks in the dining room and cleaning surfaces and furniture of buildings and premises in the facilities of the Asociation.Collective Parenthesis: Inmates, former inmates and family membersRegarding the collaboration agreement with the Paréntesis Collective Association, its purpose is the implementation of activities that promote the improvement of training, employability and social integration of inmates, ex-inmates and their families, without prejudice to the fact that these actions are extensible to other groups at risk of social exclusion.Murcia Welcomes: Spanish classes for immigrantsThe last of the agreements, signed with the Murcia Acoge Association, is aimed at the educational collaboration of young immigrants who have difficulties with the language so that, through the improvement of the Spanish language, they have more possibilities of entering the labor market .
