| The Municipal Network of Libraries of Murcia (RMBM) joins this celebration with a program of activities that will run from next Thursday to Saturday, October 24, the official day of the event | The Municipal Network of Libraries of Murcia (RMBM), dependent on the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, led by Mercedes Bernabé, celebrates Library Day with a program of cultural and literary activities, which will take place from next Thursday, October 22, to Saturday, October 24, the official date on which the anniversary is commemorated.Among the planned performances, the staging of the 'Acoustic Books' initiative stands out, which will take place on Friday, October 23, at 8:00 p.m., at the Artillery Barracks.

Likewise, they will be broadcast on the official networks of the consistory at the following times:-Video 'Read with other abilities': Thursday, Friday and Saturday, at 11am and 5pm.-Video 'Easy reading': Thursday, Friday and Saturday, at 12.00 and 18.00.Specifically, 'Easy Reading' is a service offered in the libraries of Santiago el Mayor, San Basilio, Puente Tocinos and José Saramago.
This initiative, aligned with the sustainable development goals set in the 2030 Agenda, promotes access to these centers for all people, regardless of their reading abilities or skills.Exhibition: 'The planet of books'From Thursday, October 22, the José Saramago Library (Avda.
De La Fama, 9) will host the exhibition 'The planet of books', an exhibition made up of 12 color photographs taken by Beltrán Sánchez, a member of the reading of this library and professor of audiovisual culture at IES Ramón y Cajal de Murcia."The José Saramago Reading Club presents this exhibition that is a tribute to the imagination and the book, the result of the exchange of ideas and different perspectives that readers make about a work," says Mercedes Bernabé.Visiting the exhibition is free and capacity is limited to a maximum of three people.
Its hours are from Monday to Saturday, from 9.30 a.m.
to 1.30 p.m., and Monday to Friday, from 4.30 p.m.
