The 28 finalist works of Photography and Visual Arts of the CreaMucia will be able to be seen starting Monday at the Centro Puertas de Castilla (16/10/2020)

| Presentation of the winners of Visual Arts and Photography of the CreaMurcia Contest | The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, announced this morning the winners of the Visual Arts and Photography categories of the CreaMurcia Contest, whose works are exhibited at the Puertas de Castilla Cultural Center , along with all the works that have been nominated in both modalities."A total of 114 artists were submitted to these categories -31 to Visual Arts and 83 to Photography-, of which 28 were nominated and 7 are those who have finally been awarded," said José Ballesta during the event, which has been held at the Puertas de Castilla Cultural Center and which has been broadcast live, by streaming, through the YouTube channel of the Murcia City Council.The exhibition opens to the public next MondayThe works of the 28 nominated artists make up an exhibition that will open to the public next Monday, October 19, and that can be visited until November 4, from 10 am to 9 pm.

Specifically, of the works exhibited, 19 belong to the category of Photography and 9 to Visual Arts.Dissemination of Murcian talent throughout EuropeIn addition, the City Council will publish a catalog with the awarded works and the winners will be proposed to participate in the national artistic project 'Weaving Networks' and in the international initiative 'International Biennial of Young Creators of Europe and the Mediterranean', publicizing the talent Murcian.Two first prizes and five second prizesThe first prize for Visual Arts is endowed with 2,000 euros, a category in which two second prizes of 500 euros, respectively, have also been distributed.

For its part, the winner of the Photography category has been awarded 1,500 euros –in addition, three second prizes of 500 euros each have been distributed–.The jury for both modalities, chaired by Rebeca Pérez, is made up of Tatiana Abellán, Miguel Ángel Hernández, Victoria Clemente, Sergio Porlán and Juan Albaladejo, as secretary.The winnersOn the one hand, in the Photography category, the winners are:-First prize.
