"Longseq Applications" obtains the award for the best project of the VII CIM-M Award and Chair of Entrepreneurs (16/10/2020)

| "Collaborative Housing" wins the award for the best project led by a woman, and "Evacold", the award for the most innovative project / disruptive | The Center for Municipal Initiatives of the Murcia City Council today hosted the delivery of the VII CIM-M Award and Chair of Entrepreneurs for the best projects for the creation of a company, which was attended by the Councilor for Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism, Pedro García Rex; the vice-rector for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society of the UMU, Alicia Rubio Bañón; the deputy director of the Chair of Entrepreneurs and dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Samuel Baixauli; Antonio Aragón Sánchez, director of the UMU Chair for Entrepreneurs; and Álvaro Armada Cañas, head of the Department of Business Growth of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia."Longseq Applications": DNA sequencingThe prize for the best project, with an endowment of 1,500 euros, went to "Longseq Applications", from Belén de la Morena, a predoctoral student in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Murcia (UMU).

It is projected as a long-chain DNA sequencing company, generating great added value, as well as intelligent systems for diagnosing a multitude of diseases and consulting.

Among its founders are numerous profiles of highly prestigious researchers belonging to the UMU."Collaborative Housing", combat the loneliness of the elderlyFor its part, "Viviendas Colaborativas", by Susana Almarza and Alicia Veracruz, both students of the dependency master's degree and the double degree in Law and Business Administration at the UMU, has won the award for the best project led by a woman, endowed with an amount of 1,000 euros.

It consists of a business proposal based on an alternative form of coexistence for people over 65 years of age, where independent houses are combined with common spaces.
