Bosco reveals the first details of his show ´La Divina Tragedia´ at the Bernal Theater (15/10/2020)

| The Murcian band's project was selected within the Murcia City Council's' Cultural Reactives' program and is part of his musical trilogy on 'La Divina Comedy ', by Dante Alighier | Bosco's 'La Divina Tragedia' begins its journey this Friday, October 16 (8pm), at the Bernal Theater in El Palmar.

The Murcian band was selected within the 'Cultural Reactives' program of the Murcia City Council, thanks to which it has begun to create this show of which it will show the first details to the public on the municipal stage. This new "concert-experience" by Bosco is part of his trilogy inspired by the work 'La Divina Comedia', by Dante Alighieri, which has been used as an aesthetic, structural and conceptual framework for some of the musical works of this band that is characterized for his personality and the originality of his proposals. The members of the group explain that, with their work, their intention is not to tell the journey of Dante and Virgilio in search of the beautiful Beatrice, but to "make the audience vibrate and reflect" with their songs, inspired by "each of those three archetypal places that the poet visited, in those fundamental stages for the evolution of thought: Hell, Purgatory and Paradise.

"Since its origin, Bosco has been inspired by these elements to offer his concert-experiences, offering a very personal vision of Greek tragedy.

The live performances are also characterized by a theatrical staging with overtones of rock opera, although on this occasion, and being a project that is in the process of creation, it will be presented in a trio format and the texts will be recited by the singer and lyricist of the group, David Moretti.Bosco's project is for 'La Divina Tragedia' to follow in the footsteps of his successful multidisciplinary show 'El Circo de las Delicias', which premiered in 2013 at the Teatro Circo Murcia and served as the presentation of his first album.

From now on, the work will focus on combining music with other disciplines such as theater, dance and video art, shaping the final show. Admission to the Bosco concert at the Bernal Theater in El Palmar will be free and invitations can be collected at the theater box office on Friday from 6 pm. 'Cultural reagents' programThrough the 'Cultural Reactives' program, the Murcia City Council makes effective its support to the cultural sector of the municipality of Murcia, promoting artistic and creative production through an investment of more than 700,000 euros in direct contracting of the selected cultural initiatives in the nine lines of action. The program, which has been recognized by Europe as an example of good practices, arose as a result of the paralysis that the cultural sector suffered due to the health crisis of COVID-19 and seeks to contribute to the construction of a solid and comprehensive cultural sector, facilitating the development of projects launched by artists and creatives who are in different phases of their professional career. Bosco's project is part of the line 'Theaters and Auditoriums of Murcia' aimed at the performing arts, within which a total of 15 projects were selected out of the 179 presented.

These are original and innovative montage projects in the field of performing arts (theater, dance, circus, microtheater, performance, etc.) and music adapted to stage spaces for display in the theater and auditorium circuit of the municipality of Murcia.
