| In the Infant - Primary Section delivered by the AICE Federation | MICE is an international educational film exhibition for girls, boys, young people, teachers and the general public, with films made by students within learning environments, and this October the 8th Edition of the Awards Gala will be held.

of MICE awards. In it, the award will be made to all the winners in the multiple sections.

A section that we are especially excited to mention is the newly created "MICE ACCESSIBLE", in which the AICE Federation will award 2 awards to the accessible shorts of this edition. An "expert" children's jury, made up entirely of cochlear implants, has intervened for the evaluation of the shorts that participated in this category.

Who better than them to make a realistic and objective analysis and evaluation? After an entertaining viewing of the shorts of the 40 participating centers and a very conscientious assessment due to the high level of quality of the videos that were presented, it was decided that the winner in the MICE ACCESSIBLE section of Infant - Primary would be the CEIP San José de la Mountain of Sangonera la Seca, Murcia. The 1st and 2nd year Primary students from this center acted in the short entitled "The School Around the World", in which they show us their experience on a Galleon and explain the history of the trip around the world from their vision as children. The short is subtitled in both Spanish and English making it accessible to people with hearing problems. All the winners will be given a communication pack, consisting of communication and accessibility workshops, not only for the awarded class, but also for all the students of the center to participate. The + COM masks (with transparent window) will also be included, promoted by the AICE Federation with its campaign "20,000 masks for 20,000 smiles", to facilitate both lip reading and facial expressiveness, thus providing teachers with tools to improve accessibility in their classes with students, whether they have hearing problems or not. From the AICE Federation they transmit on behalf of the young cochlear implants who formed the jury, their most sincere congratulations to all the participants, and especially to the winners. They affirm that it has been very difficult to choose between all the talent displayed, and they encourage all schools and institutes to participate next year, both as creators of accessible content for communication and as an audience of such an incredible event.
