The City Council guarantees the safety of citizens with the maintenance of defibrillators located in 82 sports facilities (09/10/2020)

| The Governing Board approves this service to the company Aneks3 with an amount of 10,648 euros for a period of one year | The Governing Board today approved the award, through a reduced simplified open procedure, of the maintenance service of defibrillators in sports facilities of the Murcia City Council to the company Aneks3 with an amount of 10,648 euros (VAT included) for a period of one year .The purpose of this contract is to keep the teams located in a total of 82 sports facilities in good condition, such as pavilions, soccer fields, sports centers, municipal swimming pools, as well as the Monte Romero Stadium located in the Campos de Espinardo, in order to guarantee health care for users.The Sports Service of the Murcia City Council, dependent on the Department of Sports and Health, led by Felipe Coello, proposed hiring this service to make health protection effective, taking into account that access to defibrillation is essential for overcome sudden death, in compliance with Decree 349/2007, of November 9, which regulates the use of semi-automatic external defibrillators by non-medical personnel in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.The council encourages the practice of sport as a healthy way of life and guarantees users of sports facilities continuity in the public services provided, which include activities for all ages with full guarantees in terms of health and prevention.
