Six virtual sessions make up the Cinefórum program from October to December (07/10/2020)

| The Municipal Network of Libraries of Murcia (RMBM) recovers this activity, which will take place through the 'Zoom' platform | The Municipal Network of Libraries of Murcia (RMBM), dependent on the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, led by Mercedes Bernabé, takes up the Cinefórum activity in virtual sessions, through the zoom platform, on the occasion of the current situation derived of Covid-19.The mayor presented this morning, together with the coordinator of the initiative Carlos Gironés, the new program that will run from October to December.

"Our libraries open their doors to culture, reading and, in this case, the cinema through an activity that has been in high demand by users for 11 years", he highlighted.Six virtual sessionsThe program is made up of six virtual sessions that will take place through the zoom platform.

Users will have varied titles of different genres and themes that have been selected from the streaming cinema platform of public libraries eFilmMurcia,"It is an initiative in which people of different ages and origin come together to share their impressions of a cinematographic work, which will be previously available on said portal", Mercedes Bernabé highlighted, who remembers that "once inside the platform , participants will have 72 hours to view the film.

"The activity is free and is limited to 25 places in order to facilitate communication between all attendees.

Registrations can be made at the Río Segura Library on 968 351 550.

Those interested must have an RMBM card to be able to access the eFilmMurcia platform and an email from where they will be given direct access to the meeting through zoom.

Cinema and Literature I: 'Week-end', by Jean-Luc Godard (France, 1967).-30th of October.

Soviet cinema: 'Zerkalo', by Andrei Tarkovsky (USSR, 1975).-13 November.

Cinema and Literature II.

'Rigorously guarded trains', by Jirí Menzel (Czechoslovakia, 1966).-27 November.

French cinema: 'The money', by Robert Bresson (France, 1983).-4 December.

Cinema and Literature III: 'Picnic at Hanging Rock', by Peter Weir (Australia, 1975)-18 December.

Spanish cinema: 'Burnt skin', by Josep María Forn (Spain, 1966).
