| In this event city projects have been discussed, framed in the development of sustainable and smart cities, aligned with a strategy that puts the citizen at the center of management | The Murcia City Council participates in the XI Forum on Sustainability and Urban Intelligence 'Greencities' at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA).Greencities is the great event of Spanish smart cities, a professional forum for debate and knowledge between cities, companies and professionals; generation of networking and business opportunities and exposure of advanced solutions for efficient and intelligent integral urban management.In this event, city projects have been discussed, framed in the development of sustainable and smart cities, aligned with a strategy that puts the citizen at the center of management.
The roadmap of Spanish cities for the future has also been addressed, at a time of Covid19 health crisis.In this way, the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration has participated, with the presence of the Director of Modernization and Quality of the Administration in Murcia City Council, José Martínez Márquez, in the debate on the future of the cities, where they have been dealt with issues related to sustainability, energy efficiency, digital projects and applications of technological solutions.With all the health security measures, institutional representatives, municipal technicians, companies and professionals have gathered around a program marked by the United Nations 2030 Agenda and in which Spanish cities have claimed a connected, sustainable and efficient.Organized by FYCMA and after having convened more than 200 cities in its latest edition, Greencities 2020 has among its collaborators the Network of Urban Initiatives (RIU), the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI) and the Network of Cities of Science and Innovation (Innpulso).
