The World Space Week 2020 arrives in Murcia with the help of the Museum of Science and Water and the Association for Scientific Dissemination (03/10/2020)

| The activities on the occasion of the 'World Space Week' will take place from October 7 to 11 and will celebrate the contribution of space research to society | The Science and Water Museum and the Murcia Scientific Dissemination Association once again join in the celebration of World Space Week, this year with the slogan 'Satellites improve life'.In this edition, the activities of the World Space Week will take place between October 7 and 11.

Thus, the Museum of Science and Water and ADCMurcia will offer the course 'Initiation to space research', where attendees will be able to learn what this field of science does to expand our knowledge, while protecting humanity by monitoring from Heights.The course will be welcomed by Jesús Pacheco, Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, and will be presented by the director of the museum, Maribel Parra.

The speakers will be Fernando Ortuño, Jorge Pla, Juan José Gómez, Antonio Pérez Verde and Daniel Torregrosa.

The activities take place between October 4 and 10 in commemoration of two of the greatest milestones in the history of space: the launch of Sputnik I, the first human-made satellite on October 4, 1957, and the Outer Space Treaty of October 10, 1967.
