| The Sayza Jazz festival will offer 5 free access performances of this musical genre | Jazz will once again flood the Palmeral and the municipal center of Santiago and Zaraiche from October 9 to 12.The Sayza Jazz festival, which will offer 5 free access performances of this musical genre, "has established itself as an unavoidable annual event and as a sign of the cultural identity of the district.

Now it returns with all safety and hygiene measures and adapting to the new reality with a clear commitment to local musicians ", has pointed out the Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco.For his part, the councilor for Pedania and Barrios, Marco Antonio Fernández, has indicated that "with initiatives like this one we enrich the life of our districts, also turning them into a pole of attraction for residents from other areas of the Region who visit them attracted by these cultural performances ".On the one hand, there will be two musical performances in the Municipal Center of Santiago and Zaraiche (on October 9 and 10 at 9:00 p.m.) and three performances in a setting hitherto unpublished in the Sayza Jazz: the enclave of Palmeral de Zaraiche ( on October 10, 11 and 12, at 12:30 p.m.)With this premise a series of concerts has been devised for a limited capacity, both due to space and security measures, covering different styles of jazz and its derivatives.The cycle will consist of five musical performances, two of which will take place on the stage of the Cultural Center and another three will take place in the Palmeral de Santiago and Zaraiche.Given the particular circumstances as a consequence of Covid-19, extraordinary security measures will be adopted, all of them included in the 'Guide of good practices for the restart of scenic and musical activity in Spain.

Measures and recommendations in the face of the Covid-19 health crisis' published by the INAEM and in the Public Health protocols of the Autonomous Community and the Murcia City Council.The main measures include the following:- Reduced capacity, below the indications of the health authorities.- Access control personnel to guarantee the limit of the capacity and the respect of security measures- Mandatory use of a mask to access the site- Distribution of masks and disinfectant gel at the access- Minimum distance of 2 meters between the seats of the non-living spectators- Signaling measures for entrances and exits, areas of action and areas for the public- Use of PPE by the workers involvedThe complete schedule is as follows:Friday 9.
