The Senior Classroom of the University of Murcia officially begins the course this Thursday, October 1, with a welcoming ceremony for students, which will be carried out by the Vice Chancellor for Studies, Sonia Madrid.
Classes will start on October 6. The main novelty this year is that all the classes will be held online as a result of the social and health situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the exceptional circumstances that mark this academic year, 250 people have enrolled in the Senior Classroom, whose study program is intended for people over 50 years of age.
In this edition 50 different subjects will be taught. This multidisciplinary training open to all, both those who are entering the University's classrooms for the first time, as well as those who wish to reconnect with academic activity, is structured around a four-year study plan that it forms an own degree from the University of Murcia, plus an advanced study plan for those seniors who, once they have graduated, want to continue their university education.
