Murcia turns green tomorrow to commemorate World Pharmacist Day (24/09/2020)

| The riverbed, the Almudí Palace, the Moneo Building and the pedestrian axis of Alfonso X El Sabio are the spaces that will be dressed in green | Different enclaves of the city of Murcia will be dyed green tomorrow, on the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, which is commemorated on September 25; emblematic spaces that will be, in particular, the riverbed, the Almudí Palace, the Moneo Building and the pedestrian axis of Alfonso X El Sabio.The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the president of the Official College of Pharmacists of the Region, Isabel Tovar, the councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén, and the mayor of Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, will visit tomorrow the different spaces –the meeting point will be in Plaza Belluga, at 9:00 pm–."It is a sector that has been from the first moment and that is in the front line to contain the coronavirus, readapting its facilities with security measures, solving all kinds of inquiries from the population and providing essential services," said José Ballesta, who added that "pharmaceutical professionals respond to the 20,000 Murcians who visit pharmacies every day in search of advice and purchase of medicines, demonstrating their firm commitment to Murcian society."
