| The work lasted more than 5 hours due to the complexity of the rescue | The Fire Fighting and Rescue Service, dependent on the Department of Citizen Security and Economic Management, directed by Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, intervened last night in the rescue of a young man injured in the Bermejo de Cobatillas head.The work lasted until 5 in the morning since the fall occurred in a very steep area, with sections where it is necessary to climb, so the firefighters had to carry bags of high altitude material to ascend to the victim and assess there rescue options.During the ascent, the troops observed the difficulty of evacuation carrying a stretcher, so after about 30 minutes of walking through narrow and steep paths, it was decided to send a team through a fork to check if there is an alternative descent that allows an easier evacuation .After an hour and a half of the journey, the firefighters reached the young man who was conscious, with superficial injuries and a lot of pain in his hip.After the wounds were treated, the team evacuated the young man on a stretcher thanks to several rope installations in the steepest areas.The descent lasted for almost 3 hours until reaching Cobatillas where the health media took care of the boy to transfer him to the Reina Sofía hospital.
