Alfonso X hosts ´Luz de sonido´ the first artistic exhibition on public roads that can be seen and heard (22/09/2020)

| Shows the works of 10 artists inspired by the music of groups that have performed at the WARM UP | The 'Somos Murcia' program, organized thanks to the collaboration between WARM UP and the Murcia City Council, begins with the new exhibition 'Luz de Sonido', which can be visited until October 9.This exhibition, which can be seen and heard on Avenida Alfonso X, consists of a group of 10 reproductions of original pictorial works printed on canvas and mounted on supports adapted to public roads. The works have been made by 10 visual artists who have been inspired by musical themes from groups that have performed at the WARM UP Estrella de Levante.

Each of these works is accompanied by a QR code that links directly to the musical theme that inspired it, thereby interacting with the viewer who can listen to the musical themes while strolling through the sample.'Sound light' combines painting with music, at the same time that it requires the intervention of the visitor in the search and reading of the QR codes, motivating them to discover the message of both the musical piece and the interpretation that the artist has given to it and encouraging to investigate more about the artists, about the selected musical bands and about the festival environment. The exhibition curated by Victoria Santiago (Doctor and holder of the Heritage Management subject at the Faculty of Fine Arts) is made up of already established artists from the Region, as well as young promises who are starting their career in the art world: Antonio Lisón , Belén Martínez, Carlos Menéndez, M.

Dolores M.

Belmar, Manuel Vacas, María José Caride, María Sal, Salvador Díaz, Santi García Cánovas and Virtoc. The musical themes in which they have been inspired to elaborate their works are Vetusta Morla, Izal, Viva Sweden, La MODA, Two Door Cinema Club, Alt-J, Kasabian, Miss Cafeina, La Cuarto Roja and El Columpio Asesino.
