Magic, theater and music return to the Pupaclown Scenic Center with a program adapted to the situation of Covid-19 (22/09/2020)

| About twenty activities, including shows and workshops, make up the programming of the 8th Circus Festival ' Carpa de Acogida 'and the 11th International Festival of Performing Arts for Children, which will run until December | The Pupaclown Scenic Center starts the season with a program of activities and shows of circus, clown, theater, workshops, music, aimed at the whole family and adapted to the situation of the Covid, such as the reduction of capacity, according to current regional regulations as well as hand hygiene, temperature measurement when entering, use of a mask, safety distance and the installation of a mat at the entrances to disinfect the feet. The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, attended this morning, together with the Minister for Education and Culture, Esperanza Moreno, the director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts of the Region of Murcia, Juan Antonio Lorca Sánchez, and the president of the Pupaclown Foundation, María José Astillero, at the presentation of the program for the 8th Circus Festival 'Carpa de Acogida' and the 11th International Festival of Performing Arts for Children, which will run until December.Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports (INAEM), the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts of the Region of Murcia (ICA) and the Murcia City Council, Pupaclown has organized around twenty circus activities , clown, theater, puppets, music and workshops, both for the last quarter of the year.“Magic and illusion return to this center with a diverse program, focused on making children and adults enjoy.

From the City Council we continue betting on culture, responding to one of the sectors most affected by the crisis, as we were the first of the Spanish councils to declare this area as an essential activity, on April 12, ”explains Jesús Pacheco. The magic of the circus as a tool for integrationFrom September 28 to October 15, the 8th Circus Festival 'Carpa de Acogida' will be held, an initiative that focuses on bringing the magic of the circus, as a tool of integration, to groups at risk of exclusion, reception centers and, in short, to anyone who wants to know first-hand circus art, in particular, and creativity, in general.The program will start on October 3, at 6:00 p.m., with 'La Isla', from the company d'Clik de Zaragoza.

The show, based on a work of body, movement, acrobatics and dance, tells the story of three shipwrecked characters who are alone and must overcome the limits of their island.On October 4, 'Standard Red' will take place, the 2018 Fetén Award for Best Street Show.

It is a popular tale, aimed at children from 3 years old, that will turn the theater into a gigantic forest.On October 18, at 12 noon, it will be the turn of 'Rob', from Teatre de L'Abast and Zero Enconducta de Valencia, a fun story in which the imagination becomes the only lifeline for its protagonist.

'The 3 bears', from the company L'Estaquirot de Barcelona', will arrive at the Pupaclown Scenic Center on October 24, at 6:00 p.m.

It is a puppet show based on a recreation of the story 'Goldilocks'.On October 31, at 6:00 p.m., the Pupaclown company of Murcia will offer its show 'Pupaventuras', starring three clowns, Membrilla, Pipa and Golosino, who enter the forest of laughter.

The circus will return on November 7, at 6:00 p.m., by the hand of the company Alas Circo de Córdoba, where Petite and Susane will offer the best performance of their lives combining different disciplines, such as clown, fabrics, juggling, balances and acrobatics.On November 8, at 5.30 pm, it will be the turn of 'An apple, an apple tree', by the Paper company from Barcelona.

It is a show to enjoy the small details and the poetry of simple things.

On Saturday, November 21, at 6:00 p.m., the Nacho Diago company from Valencia will bring 'Play-Time', a show designed for the whole family where the search starts from the object theater, the physical, music and humor, mixed with illusionism.On November 28, at 6:00 p.m., the Pupaclown Scenic Center will host 'The secret of the strongest man in the world', by Títeres Caracartón de Sevilla.

'Los 7 cabritillos', from the Pupaclown company, will return on December 12, at 6:00 p.m., to amuse the public with their adventures, their games, songs and antics.

Finally, on December 13, at 12.00, 'Xocolat', by Teatro Paraíso de Vitoria 'will take place.The Taller de Cuentoterapia will be held on October 27 and 28, from 5:00 p.m.

The money raised goes to children and young people without resources so that they can attend shows, workshops and other projects.
