Pérez: "Once again the PSOE shows that for them political interests prevail more than those of Murcians" (21/09/2020)

| Socialist councilor Juan Vicente Larrosa described the file of the remunicipalisation of the ORA as "technically perfect" | The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, reminded the PSOE councilor, Juan Vicente Larrosa, that in the last meeting on the management of the ORA he himself described the file as "technically perfect." "This makes us see that for them political interests are more important than the interests of Murcia." Pérez has indicated that "as we promised, on September 8 a meeting was held with the different political groups in which the technical team dispelled all their doubts.

We asked them to transmit their suggestions or proposals to us and none of the parties politicians who now vote against have done so.

" "I ask all the representatives of the groups that in the next plenary session they say if they are on the part of Murcia, of job stability and good management of the service, or of other interests that we do not know," said the councilor. Pérez stressed that "it is part of our urban mobility program that the ORA is managed directly by the City Council, with the flexibility and management capacity that this implies.

What surprises me most of all this is the privatization effort of the PSOE" . The councilor recalled that the file has a supporting report required by the applicable regulations, which incorporates the technical, legal and economic criteria that provide justification for the choice of this form of management and that support its viability. The report, which has a favorable report from Intervention and Legal Services, is divided into several sections divided into legal aspects, labor aspects, technical report, and economic-financial study. "Thus, thanks to this management model, economic profitability is gained, and for this purpose only contribute a very illuminating and significant data: the ORA service from its municipalization on October 17 until the end of 2019, that is, In two and a half months, it has yielded and contributed to the city council a profit of 123,168.08 euros.

This figure is an amount very close to what the previous concessionaire paid annually to the City Council, which was 145,419.66 euros.

And all this with the same income, since both the rates and the regulated areas or places are the same, with the same personnel costs and with higher spending on technology.

" Regarding Urbamusa being managed by the Department of Development since it was previously the case, Pérez has indicated that "it has always depended on Urban Planning except in the last term.

The question of powers is delegated by the Mayor, so when Larrosa governs in this municipality that do as you see fit.
