Thanks to the little heroes for respecting the rules in the parks and gardens of the municipality (21/09/2020)

| The Murcia City Council thanks the children of the municipality for their involvement and responsibility against Covid-19, especially in the parks and gardens of the municipality, to through a communication campaign | The Murcia City Council, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration led by José Guillén, has launched a campaign to thank all children for their involvement and responsibility against Covid-19.

In this way, the Consistory aims to raise awareness and remember the rules for proper use in the more than 600 children's play areas in the municipality.This action complements and reinforces the one that is already being carried out on different social media platforms, websites and in the media, with messages and videos to inform all residents about the need to comply with the marked safety regulations and call for responsibility.Throughout this week, a distribution of mask holders and masks for the little ones in the parks and gardens of the municipality will join this initiative, which will include the rules of use in these spaces.In this campaign, the little ones are shown as superheroes and superheroines who have a mission to protect all the people in the world and especially those they love the most."With this campaign we intend to call for collective responsibility and compliance with the rules and capacity in the parks.

We thank all children and families for their responsibility in this situation, since raising awareness in the smallest is essential to overcome This health crisis.

Children are learning new ways of communicating, acting and socializing, and we want to convey a message of gratitude and hope to them, since they are an example for the whole of society ", José Guillén highlighted.Limited capacity and mandatory mask for people over 6 years oldSince the beginning of the pandemic, and especially since the reopening of the parks, the Murcia City Council has deployed a special device for daily intensive disinfection in the municipality's playgrounds and canine recreation.The City Council has deployed an information campaign in all the municipal playgrounds, which are open to Murcian families under all safety and hygiene protocols, with information signs that indicate the capacity of each space, depending on the size of the park, and the safety distance, among other indications.In playgrounds, geronto-gym areas and biosaludable devices, the use of a mask is mandatory for people over 6 years of age and the capacity of these spaces is limited.In this sense, the 100 m2 parks have a capacity of 20 people; the areas of 200 square meters a capacity of 40 people; in those of 300 square meters it is 50 people and in parks with a dimension of 500 square meters the capacity is 70 people.Likewise, it is recommended to sanitize hands before and after the use of each game element.

The sharing of the same is only allowed between children who have some family bond.

In addition, children must always be under the supervision of an adult.The City Council intensifies cleaning in the 51 dog recreation areas of the municipalityThe Parks and Gardens Service has intensified the cleaning work in the 51 canine recreation areas of the municipality, both in the play elements for pets and the furniture of these spaces, disinfecting 3 times a day.In addition to the panels, which count the disinfections to date that have been carried out in each pipican and the schedules of these, informative posters have also been placed indicating the regulations in these areas such as access limitation, as well as the hours of use security measures."These spaces become sensitive places in which it is a priority to maximize maintenance, care and hygiene and safety conditions.

The areas are marked out when working on them and access is not allowed until the product has dried, which is in no way toxic.The City Council is also disinfecting the streets, street lamps and urban furniture throughout the municipality - more than 12,000 banks spread throughout the municipality.
