Ciudadanos stands out from the conference organized by Ballesta tomorrow Sunday on Gran Vía (19/09/2020)

The orange training calls for coordination, debate and consensus to determine the suitability of carrying out this type of mass activities in times of pandemic; and asks the mayor of Murcia for prudence because the priority is to preserve the health of all Murcians by strictly following health recommendationsThe municipal group Ciudadanos has today shown its rejection of the conference organized by its Government partner for tomorrow Sunday on Gran Vía - where various family activities will be carried out from 10 to 14 hours - considering that "it is an action irresponsible in the middle of a pandemic and with such high numbers of infections ".From the orange formation they ask the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, "coordination, debate and consensus when carrying out actions of this type in this difficult situation."In this sense, Ciudadanos considers that "unilateral decisions should not be taken in coalition governments" and, much less, "if they can put citizens at risk, without listening to the competent health authorities and in line opposed to those decisions that the different administrations are taking in this regard, such as the Autonomous Community itself ".In this way, the orange formation has reminded Mayor Ballesta of the appeal that the Ministry of Health made a few days ago to the population so that, for a month, they reduce social contacts and thus be able to stop contagions.

"At this time, prudence and responsibility have to prevail if we want to make society aware of the situation we are experiencing and of the need to strictly comply with health recommendations," they have highlighted from the municipal group.
