| A local working group will analyze the contributions presented to determine their viability and implementation as a pilot experience | The survey addressed to the Local Police within the European Urbact Innovator project has ended with a total of 63 improvement proposals, contributed by the officials of this service themselves, between July 30 and September 14.The initiative, promoted by the European Programs Service, under the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, led by Mercedes Bernabé, is aimed at improving internal communication processes among the workers of the consistory; in this case, improvements in the service provided by the police force."Through this project and in collaboration with the Department of Citizen Security, we give the opportunity to the officials themselves to get involved and actively participate in the improvement of the work they provide to citizens, being these the main knowledgeable about their environment and its internal processes ”, explained Mercedes Bernabé.With the completion of this survey, the project enters a second phase focused on innovating in the internal processes of municipal services through the contributions made by the officials themselves, who have also expressed the benefits and improvements of said contributions.The initiative is the result of the collaboration of the municipalities for Urban Agenda and Citizen Security and is aligned with Strategic objective number 10 of the Spanish Urban Agenda, focused on improving intervention and governance instruments.After the survey, the next step is to bring together the local working group of the project, made up of municipal technicians from different services, who will analyze the proposals to determine their viability based on factors such as cost, completion time and complexity, among others.

Finally, the proposal that obtains the highest score will be launched as a pilot experience within the City Council itself.
