The new environmental awareness program will offer 14 activities that will be developed under a strict security protocol (10/09/2020)

| Murcians will also be able to participate in visits to the La Contraparada Visitor Center and the La Contraparada Trail, where they will learn about environmental aspects, cultural or ethnographic of the environment | Murcia will premiere on September 26 its new program of environmental awareness and awareness activities, which will run until December and will be carried out under a strict security protocol.The Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, presented this morning the program to be carried out by Ecopatrimonio, highlighting that "with these activities we seek, on the one hand, that the participants enjoy Murcian nature and, on the other, promote training, awareness and environmental awareness thus achieving the greatest respect for our environment ".In addition to the activities organized for the general population, specific activities are also scheduled for family groups to enjoy and learn about the diversity of landscapes and the natural values ??of the municipality with the whole family.The range of activities planned between September and December of this year is made up of 8 guided environmental itineraries and routes, 2 seminars and workshops for the whole family and 4 activities of the municipal Environmental Volunteering Program.To reserve a place in these activities, send an email to info@ecopatrimonio.es or call 968 212518 (in the morning).Itineraries and guided environmental routesDuring this period, 8 activities are scheduled for Saturdays, from 10 am to 2 pm, which will bring participants closer to various enclaves and environments of environmental and heritage interest.

Activities to raise awareness about the use of plastics.Safety protocol in activitiesAll these activities will be carried out under a strict security and cleaning protocol.

In addition to being mandatory the use of masks and hydroalcoholic gel and the maintenance of safety distances, the capacity is limited, being 15 attendees for itineraries and guided tours in the open air and for workshops and seminars in the open air ( previously there were 30), and 6 participants for workshops and seminars in nature classrooms or visitor centers.Information program and public use of La ContraparadaOn the other hand, different environmental awareness, sensitization and information activities will be developed at the Visitor Center and the Environmental Information Point of La Contraparada.The program attends to the visits that are registered in the area, in order to publicize the La Contraparada hydraulic complex and its exceptional environmental and cultural values, extending that information and awareness to the Segura river and the Huerta de Murcia.The recipients of the program are all residents of the municipality, associations, cultural centers, schools and any group at the municipal level (Centers for the Elderly, Centers for Women, associations for the reintegration of people in situations of social exclusion, associations of people with functional diversity, etc.), all of them established in the municipality of Murcia, who visit La Contraparada or who request to participate in the activities.In this way, Ecopatrimonio, awarded the tender, will carry out the following actions:- Attention at the information point of La Contraparada.

Located next to the recreational area on the left bank of the Segura River (Soto de las Aneas): Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, in the morning (9: 30-14h).

Visitors will be informed about the activities carried out in the Visitor Center, as well as about the characteristics and values ??of the La Contraparada area: environmental tour, natural, cultural-historical-landscape-ethnographic aspects of the Huerta de Murcia, rules of behavior, and any other information they require, by delivering brochures or other existing dissemination materials or any other available information.- Visitas y actividades en el Centro de visitantes de La Contraparada.

El  Centro de  visitantes  de  La  Contraparada se concibe como un equipamiento destinado a la comunicación e interpretación de los valores tanto del paraje de La Contraparada, como,  en general,  del  río Segura y de la Huerta de Murcia.  Asimismo, el Centro supone un relevante equipamiento vinculado a la gestión del uso público del paraje donde se encuentra.La instalación está destinada para recibir a los visitantes y proporcionarles la información necesaria para interpretar los valores naturales, paisajísticos, culturales, históricos y etnográficos más relevantes del entorno y del conjunto del río Segura, de la huerta de Murcia y de la relación río-huerta.Acercar la huerta murciana y el ríoCon la puesta en marcha de este centro se pretende, por tanto, facilitar un primer contacto tanto con el entorno de La Contraparada como del conjunto de la huerta murciana y su río, y estimular al visitante a comprenderlo, conocerlo y conservarlo.El centro está abierto a la atención a visitantes los sábados, domingos y festivos, durante todo el año, en horario de 9:30 a 14 horas, días en los que se realizarán itinerarios guiados a grupos con reserva o a personas que vayan de forma individual, a demanda.La visita, que durará aproximadamente 2 horas, incluirá un recorrido por el Centro y un itinerario ambiental por el Sendero de La Contraparada, donde se informará sobre los aspectos ambientales, culturales o etnográficos y paisajísticos más relevantes del Paraje y del complejo hidráulico de La Contraparada.Itinerarios guiados para grupos con reservaAsimismo, de lunes a viernes, de octubre a mayo, ambos meses inclusive,  se realizarán durante dos días a la semana itinerarios guiados  a  grupos  con  reserva.También se llevará a cabo un programa de uso múltiple y eventos en el Centro de Visitantes que consiste en la puesta a disposición del equipamiento del Centro para la realización de actividades con las asociaciones e incluso particulares que lo soliciten.Paralelamente a toda esta programación, la atención a los visitantes continúa con la apertura de los Puntos de Información Ambiental localizados en la Plaza de las Moreras, en el Majal blanco y en el Centro de Visitantes de El Majal Blanco, todos los sábados, domingos y festivos de 9,30 a 14,00 horas.Protocolo de seguridad en Contraparada y Majal BlancoCon el fin de evitar contagios, tanto en el Centro de Visitantes de La Contraparada como en el del Majal Blanco, se ha establecido un estricto protocolo de seguridad para evitar contagios.Así, en La Contraparada habrá un aforo máximo según la dependencia de la que se trate.

Así, el aforo máximo de la zona de acogida y atención al visitante será, como máximo, de 5 personas, en la Sala de Usos múltiples, de 8 personas, en la Sala Audiovisual, de 4, en el Espacio expositivo, de 15, y en la Sala de grabación, de 1.Aforo máximo de 6 personas en el Majal BlancoEn el Majal Blanco, habrá una aforo máximo de 6 personas y la acogida a los visitantes se realizará en el aula situada en el centro del patio.En ambos centros y para garantizar la distancia de seguridad se indicará la distancia al mostrador con marcadores tipo cinta o marcas en el suelo y en la zona de acogida y en el punto de atención al visitante se contará con solución hidroalcohólica y será obligatorio el uso de mascarillas.Además, para que el aforo definido no sea sobrepasado, se realizará control de acceso en puerta y colocación de marcadores en el suelo.

Sólo accederá a la entrada un miembro por unidad familiar o grupo.

En el caso de unidades familiares compuestas por un solo adulto con niños, éstos podrán acompañar al adulto.Igualmente se eliminarán los folletos al alcance del visitante proporcionando la información de manera virtual a través de la página web de Medio Ambiente del Ayuntamiento, así como colocando en el punto de imágenes con los códigos QR para la descarga in situ.
