Rebeca Pérez: "Being missing all summer is what does not protect schoolchildren, we prefer to work" (27/08/2020)

| The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility has criticized that "the PSOE has turned its back on schoolchildren and has not made any contribution, he only dedicates himself to putting clubs in the wheel to which we perform "| The mayor of the PP has stated that "in the Government Team we are not going to deviate from our objective, which is to keep Murcians informed and implement policies that contain contagions" The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, has responded to the socialist mayor Esther Nevado that "being disappeared all summer is what does not protect our schoolchildren, in contrast to that attitude, we prefer to work." Pérez has criticized that "the PSOE has turned its back on schoolchildren and has not made any contribution in recent weeks, they only dedicate themselves to putting clubs in the wheel to which we carry out actions". The popular councilor has stated that "despite the constant criticism made by the Socialists, in the Government Team we are not going to deviate from our objective, which is to keep Murcians informed and implement policies that contain contagions." Rebeca Pérez recalled that "while the PSOE has not made any contribution for almost three months, we have designed and implemented measures, such as the DiverPatios initiative, the expansion of zebra crossings and the implementation of a special protocol for cleaning and disinfection ". Pérez also reminded Nevado that "it is incredible that a councilwoman trivializes with a matter as serious as road safety in educational centers.

We have launched an ambitious plan with which we are working in 116 schools and we are installing new horizontal signage that warns that we are in an environment where extreme caution must be exercised when driving, as children are passing and passing by ". He also explained that "we have established new reminders about the maximum speed allowed and we are expanding pedestrian crossings to ensure compliance with social distancing.

We have also increased the green cycle of pedestrians in the traffic light regulations of the environment to reduce times waiting and avoid crowds at these points.

" The councilor has detailed that "the measure that Mrs.

Nevado and her party scoff at has been applauded by the teaching teams and the protections of the educational centers, who have appreciated its implementation.

The PSOE is specializing in criticizing the good news". The mayor has assured "to be disappointed by the double yardstick that socialists always use, who feel very bad about receiving criticism, but who send messages as lacking in sensitivity and good taste as those that Mrs.

Nevado has delivered today." Pérez has also recommended to Esther Nevado that "the concern she has for school children also leads her to ask her own party for explanations, after the Socialist Minister of Education, Isabel Celaá, dedicates herself to diverting attention and depositing in the communities autonomous all the responsibility for the beginning of the course.

That is to abandon the schoolchildren.

" To conclude, the councilor of the PP has indicated that "it would be advisable for the PSOE to change its strategy at once and begin to make useful and constructive contributions and abandon permanent criticism and insult as its main resources."
