The City Council increases awareness campaigns to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (27/08/2020)

| Civil Protection Volunteers tour neighborhoods and districts with vehicles equipped with a public address system to remember the recommendations of the health authorities | The Department of Citizen Security and Economic Management, led by Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, through Civil Protection initiates an awareness campaign in the different neighborhoods and districts of Murcia in order to minimize COVID-19 infections.In this way, two Civil Protection vehicles equipped with a public address system, will visit each and every one of the districts and neighborhoods of the municipality from 10:00 a.m.

to 1:00 p.m.

and from 6:00 p.m.

to 9:00 p.m., disseminating daily awareness campaign and necessary self-responsibility.The message that is issued is the following: "The Murcia City Council reminds you: Always wear a mask; keep a safe distance; wash your hands frequently; do not meet with more than 6 people; if you have symptoms, do not go out and Call your health center or telephone 900121212 immediately.

"The campaign begins today in the southern part of the urban area of ??the city, touring the streets of the neighborhoods of El Carmen, Infante Juan Manuel, Ronda Sur, San Pio and Santiago El Mayor.In the coming days, the vehicles will bring this awareness message to the neighborhoods of San Andrés, San Antolín, San Pedro, San Antón and Santa María de Gracia.In addition, the campaign will reach the streets of all districts of the municipality, with tours of the main communication roads, such as:Towns on the Alicante road axis.Towns on the road axis from Puente Tocinos, to El Raal-Populations of the South Cordillera, up to Zeneta.Towns on the road from El Palmar to Sangonera la Verde.Towns on the road axis from Alcantarilla, to Sangonera la Seca.Towns in the north: Cabezo de Torres, Churra, Guadalupe, Javalí Viejo-La Ñora ...Pedanías del Campo, from Sucina, Avileses, Lobosillo, Valladolises, Los Martínez del Puerto, Corvera.The Councilor for Citizen Security and Economic Management, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, thanked "the Civil Protection volunteers who continue to work and collaborate to minimize the pandemic.
