| Aguas de Murcia is carrying out the works, valued at more than 36,000 euros, on Concordia Street and Fermines Road in the district | The Murcia City Council, through the municipal company Emuasa, is developing work in the Puente Tocinos district that consists of expanding the sanitation network in order to solve the existing problems due to the lack of sewerage.The Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, and the manager of Aguas de Murcia, Rafael Gómez, have visited the works, which are being carried out on Concordia Street and Fermines de Puente Tocinos road.

The jobs put into operation imply an investment of more than 36,000 euros.Household connections for 9 homesApart from the installation of the pipeline that will provide the area with a sewage network, the operators are also placing household connections in 9 homes in the area where the works are being carried out.The mayor Navarro has indicated that "this action is part of the commitment that we are following in the Government Team for the structure and efficiency of public services, so that all citizens enjoy the best benefits regardless of where they live.

This line of action is a priority for us with the aim of providing the urban area and districts with the best means ".Investment Plan endowed with 13 millionThe works at Puente Tocinos are part of the Aguas de Murcia Investment Plan for the 2019-2020 period, endowed with 13 million euros, through the execution of 63 projects.

Of the 13 million euros, more than 9 are already in execution, which represents more than 70% of the total amount.The works of the Investment Plan 2019-2020 correspond 62% to works to improve sanitation, while the remaining 38% are related to works in the supply network.Improvements in more than 10 districtsSo far this year, Aguas de Murcia has acted in the districts of Beniaján, Zarandona, Algezares, Rincón de Seca, El Puntal, Nonduermas, Monteagudo and in the Polígono Industrial Oeste district of San Ginés, as well as in the neighborhoods of Infante Juan Manuel and Santa Eulalia de Murcia.In addition to this performance in Puente Tocinos, Emuasa also has scheduled improvement works in other districts, such as Cabezo de Torres and Llano de Brujas.
