The Department of Social and Family Rights is the department that is channeling the processing of all files.One of the main objectives set by the team of the Department is to shorten the time in the administrative processing of aid.

As it was realized in the constitutive session of the Municipal Council of Social Services, it is programmed to undertake a revision of the text of the regulatory ordinance of the concession of economic aid for the attention of social emergencies.Delay less than a monthThe main objective of this work route is to improve and expedite the processing of these grants.

In any case, the delay in processing prior to the payment of aid has been gradually reduced in recent months and is currently less than a month.The councilor for Social Rights, Pilar Torres, has indicated that "the attention of the most vulnerable people in the municipality is at the center of action of our project.

Helping the most needy groups is a priority for the Government Team and we will not give up on the effort to provide support and coverage to everyone who needs it.

"Food delivery service in all neighborhoods and districtsTo maintain the attention of the most vulnerable people until they receive the financial aid they have requested, the City Council, in collaboration with third sector entities such as Cáritas Diocesana, the Red Cross and the Food Bank of Segura, has a service food distribution that reaches the entire municipality.The awarding of an extraordinary grant worth 750,000 euros was the first step in designing a territorial map that covers all districts and neighborhoods.

Currently 2,016 people are being served, 1,563 are adults and 619 are minors.

In recent weeks, the service has been expanded to 184 more families and a total of almost 700 families are served."We have taken the food delivery service to areas where it was not present, such as the districts of Corvera, Sucina, Valladolises, Cañadas de San Pedro and Rincón de Seca, among others," explained Pilar Torres.
