The City Council will hire unemployed people, registered with the SEF, to carry out reforms in the municipal gardens (24/07/2020)

| The Governing Board today approved the grant request to the Regional Employment and Training Service to hire the unemployed, for an amount of 133,284 euros | The Governing Board today approved the grant application to the Regional Employment and Training Service to hire the unemployed, for an amount of 133,284 euros.In this way, the Murcia City Council, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration led by José Guillén, will hire 13 unemployed people and registered in the Employment offices for the execution of works or services, for a term 6 months.The purpose of this program is for unemployed people to have the opportunity to gain work experience and new knowledge.

The City Council continues with its policies to generate employment while improving green areas, the environment and by extension the quality of life for all Murcians.The work that they are going to carry out, in collaboration with the municipal workers, is on reforms of the landscaped areas, flower beds and children's games in the municipality.This grant from the Local Public Employment program is co-financed by the European Social Fund.
