| The City Council reports the security and hygiene protocols in the parks and gardens of the municipality to guarantee the safety of Murcian families | The City Council has deployed an information campaign in all the playgrounds of the municipality, which are open to Murcian families under all safety and hygiene protocols, with informative signs that indicate the capacity of each space, depending on the dimensions of the park, and the safety distance, among other indications.To keep these spaces in perfect condition and guarantee the safety of all the residents, the municipal operators continue working on the intensive cleaning and disinfection of the neighborhood parks and districts of Murcia.Special daily disinfection deviceSince the start of the pandemic, and especially since the reopening of the parks, the City Council has deployed a special daily disinfection device for all the gardens in the municipality, following the regulations approved by the Community. In parallel, the City Council is also launching informative messages on the different social media platforms, as well as videos to inform all residents about the indications.During the state of alarm, the municipal operators have carried out disinfection tasks, acting in the more than 3,000 children's games distributed by the more than 600 children's play areas and in cleaning the 759 geronto-gymnastic devices, distributed in the 165 bio-healthy areas of the municipality.Limited capacity and mandatory mask for over 6 yearsIn playgrounds, gerontogym areas and bio-healthy devices, the use of a mask is compulsory for children over 6 years of age and the capacity of these spaces is limited.In this sense, the parks of 100 m2 have a capacity of 20 people; the areas of 200 square meters have a capacity of 40 people; in the 300 square meters it is 50 people and in the parks with a dimension of 500 square meters the capacity is 70 people. Likewise, it is recommended to sanitize hands before and after the use of each game element.

Their shared use is only allowed between children who have a family bond.

Furthermore, children must always be under the supervision of an adult.Intensive cleaning of 12,000 banks spread throughout the municipalityThe City Council is also disinfecting the streets, lampposts and urban furniture of the entire municipality -more than 12,000 banks scattered throughout the municipality-, as well as the 51 canine recreation areas, both in play items for pets and furniture for these spaces.
