Pérez.Training and advice for youth associationsThe Youth Service organizes a conference every year to provide necessary information and advice to associations in order to offer them the possibility of expressing and debating their opinions and concerns."In this sense, the sessions that will take place next October are framed, and their purpose is to analyze the current situation of young people and show new forms of relationship and participatory methodologies that will be implemented in our municipality," he highlights.

the mayor.The activity will also deal with the situation of youth associations and entities after the state of alarm, both at the health, legal and ordinary operating levels, as well as studying proposals of local administrations for youth and for promoting associationism.Three youth centersThe Youth Service manages a network of youth centers aimed at offering young people spaces for information, training, creation and artistic-cultural expression in its different manifestations, as well as for conducting meetings and developing work and different programs of activities.

For this, the City Council has three spaces: La Nave Municipal Center, Youth Space; 585 m˛ Youth Resource Center, Youth Space; and the Municipal Youth Center of El Palmar, which are already serving after the closure of the pandemic.Subsidies to promote youth participationThe City Council granted in 2019 grants to 69 youth associations for the realization of their activity programs during the 2019/2020 academic year, for a total amount of 70,000 euros.

The deadline for carrying out the activities was extended until June 30, 2020, so that the associations could finish the programs that have been affected as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

Likewise, a new call for subsidies is planned to give continuity to these activity programs.
