Specifically, the City Council has allocated 52,251 euros to the call for performing arts in 'Theaters and Auditoriums of Murcia' - surpassing the initial proposal. This line includes original and innovative staging projects in the field of performing arts (theater, dance, circus, micro theater, performance, etc.), as well as musical projects adapted to stage spaces for exhibition in the theater and auditorium circuit of the municipality of Murcia that have been promoted by companies, freelancers, associations and educators.Specifically, 15 projects have been selected from the 179 presented, which include theater, dance, circus, performance, object theater, proposals on virtual platforms, music and theater in English.

The variety also exists in the public to whom these proposals are directed - these are initiatives aimed at both the family and adult public."The 'Cultural Reactives' program has been recognized in Europe as an example of good practice, to boost the cultural sector and respond to the difficulties that our artists are facing due to the health crisis," said Jesús Pacheco , who recalled that "the European Commission has chosen Murcia to lead the roadmap for culture in Europe until the 2030 horizon".
